The Marion County School System provides balanced breakfast and lunch each day.  The following are the prices for the 2007-08 school year:

Student Reduced Price: $0.30
Adult: $1.00
Visitor: $2.00

Lunch:
Student Full Price: $1.50
Student Reduced Price: $0.40
Adult: $2.00
Visitor: $3.00

Extra Items:
12 oz. 100% Juice - $0.75
Bottled Water - $0.75
Gatorade - $0.75
8 oz. Milk - $0.30
Bottled Tea - $0.75
Fries - $0.50
Dessert - $0.50
Bread - $0.25
Fruit - $0.50

Extra items may not be available at all schools and are subject to price change.  It is recommended that students purchase a full meal before buying extra items.

Parents may prepay for meals as far in advance as they wish.  Accounts may be used for all cafeteria purchases.  No charging is allowed for extra items.  Charging for meals is highly discouraged. 

Students may charge up to two meals.  If you are having trouble paying for meals, please contact Jennifer Roberts at 205-921-3191.

• You may send payments any day of the week, but we encourage payments on Monday
• Separate checks should be sent for each child
• Please help your child memorize his/her ID#

Offer vs. Serve Requirements:

• Each student is offered 5 food choices for lunch: Milk, Meat, Bread, Fruit and Vegetable
• Each student is offered 4 food choices for breakfast: Milk, Bread, Fruit, Meat (optional)
• Students may select 3, 4, or 5 food items for lunch
• Students must select at lease 3 of the food items for lunch and breakfast

CARBONATED DRINKS AND FOOD FROM OTHER FOOD SERVICES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CAFETERIA DURING BREAKFAST OR LUNCH.  FOOD MAY BE BROUGHT FROM HOME IN A LUNCHBOX OR PAPER SACK.
